Refund & Payment Resolution Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Legal Bridge Litigation Group is dedicated to high-standard account administration, legal compliance, and clear financial practices. This policy explains when payments may be refunded and how to request a review.

1. Purpose & Core Policy

All payments processed toward outstanding balance settlements, administrative accounts, court costs, or authorized client service fees are applied directly toward established monetary obligations or credited to active collection workflows.

Consequently, payments executed, cleared, and acknowledged are considered final and generally non-refundable, except under the explicit conditions defined in Section 2 below.

2. Eligible Circumstances for Refund

Legal Bridge Litigation Group will evaluate and process refund claims strictly under the following validated scenarios:

  • Overpayment or Duplicate Charge: When a debtor or client payment exceeds the total outstanding balance, or when technical processing errors cause a transaction to execute multiple times.
  • Unauthorized Transactions: If a transaction was initiated without documented electronic, written, or recorded verbal authorization (subject to verification with the billing institution and account history).
  • Timely Post-Dated Cancellation: If a written request to cancel a scheduled future post-dated payment or recurring payment arrangement is received by Legal Bridge Litigation Group at least two (2) business days prior to the scheduled execution date.
  • Legal Resolution / Accounting Adjustments: If post-payment court orders, verified identity theft documentation, or original creditor accounting adjustments invalidate the underlying obligation.

3. Important Compliance & Legal Notice

Legal Bridge Litigation Group complies strictly with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), state collection laws, and standard banking rules. Submitting false dispute claims or fraudulent chargebacks with card issuers rather than utilizing this internal resolution procedure may lead to immediate reinstatement of full collections, legal enforcement actions, or credit reporting adjustments.

4. Refund Request & Review Procedure

To initiate a review for a refund or payment correction, account holders must follow the standard procedure below:

  1. Submit a Written Request: Contact the Legal Bridge Litigation Group Billing Department via email or physical mail including your account reference number, payment transaction date, payment method, amount, and specific grounds for the refund.
  2. Investigation & Verification: Our accounting department will review payment logs, call recordings, signed agreements, and bank settlement statements within 3 to 5 business days of receipt.
  3. Determination & Disbursement: If approved, refunds are credited back using the original payment instrument (ACH transfer, debit or credit card). Approved credit card or ACH refunds generally reflect within 5 to 10 business days depending on the receiving financial institution.
